Summer is More Affordable with Year-Round Pell Grant
If you are currently Pell Grant eligible for 2017-2018, you will be eligible to receive Pell Grant funding for the Summer 2018 semester! Eligible students must enroll in at least 6 credit hours during the summer semester to maintain their eligibility for the additional Pell Grant award. The College of Education’s Comprehensive Community Clinic offers services for the community in special education, counseling, communication sciences and disorders, mathematics, and language and literacy. Our Ed.D. program in School Improvement offers a unique opportunity for educators looking for an interdisciplinary, inquiry-based doctoral program that prepares graduates to become change agents in the schools they serve. Virtual Research Center
The Tanner Health System School of Nursing (THS SON) partnered with the College of Education (COE) to develop an interdisciplinary online COE and THS SON Virtual Research Center (VRC) to support doctoral students and faculty research. UTeach West Georgia is an innovative and highly successful teacher preparation program for students majoring in science and mathematics. The University of West Georgia is one of three institutions in the state selected to replicate the UTeach model.
