The University of West Georgia Richards College of Business hosted a speaker this week whose vast experience in the financial industry offered unique insight and wisdom to those in attendance.

During the week of March 29-April 2, UWG took over "The Academic Minute," a collaborative program from WAMC public radio in Albany, New York, and the Association of American Colleges and Universities. "The Academic Minute" is a daily module featuring researchers from colleges and universities around the world, keeping listeners abreast of what’s new and exciting in the academy.
The University of West Georgia administered its first batch of the vaccine against COVID-19 Friday, with more than 450 doses being delivered to students, faculty, and staff.
The next director of athletics at the University of West Georgia will travel 2,400 miles east to Go West. UWG President Dr. Brendan Kelly announced the naming of Jason Carmichael as the institution’s next athletics director Thursday.
