Spring Commencement Ceremonies

Friday, May 15, 2026
9:00 AM: All students from College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences & University College
 
1:00 PM: All students from Richards College of Business & School of Communication, Film, and Media
 
5:00 PM: All students from Dr. James 'Earl' Perry College of Mathematics, Computing, and Sciences & Tanner Health School of Nursing
 
 
Saturday, May 16, 2026
1:00 PM: Undergraduate students and Georgia's BEST participants from College of Education
 
5:00 PM: Graduate students (who are not Georgia's BEST participants) from the College of Education 
 
Students who will complete degree requirements in the Spring 2026 semester are eligible to participate in the Spring Commencement Ceremony.
 
Students who will complete 6 credit hours or less in the Summer 2026 semester are eligible to participate in the Spring Commencement Ceremony.  Students who have more than 6 credits to complete in the Summer 2026 semester are eligible to participate in the Fall 2026 Commencement Ceremony.
 
The Registrar’s Office will contact students who have submitted a graduation application with their assigned ceremony date and time once the information becomes available.
 
Please note: Certificate only students do not participate in commencement ceremonies.
 
All Marching Graduation Candidates should carefully review the Marching Students Information page for comprehensive information on when & where to arrive and expectations for the commencement ceremony.

  • No Tickets will be issued or required for entrance to the Commencement Ceremonies. All seating will be general admission.
