Warren Coker, D.M.A.
Music Faculty, Applied VoiceDr. Coker completed the Doctorate of Musical Arts at the Shenandoah University Conservatory of Music, and Master's and Bachelor's degrees from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He has instructed Applied Voice at Appalachian State University, Rider University, Shenandoah University. He is currently teaching Applied Voice with the music faculty of the University of Western Georgia. Warren studied vocal performance with Charles Lynam at the University of North Carolina and with William Sharp at the Aspen Music Festival. Warren has performed the title roles in Gianni Schicchi and Don Giovanni, as well as the role of Figaro in the Marriage of Figaro, at the Aspen Music Festival with the Aspen Opera Theater Center under the direction of Ed Berkeley. He has performed operas, oratorios, and art song recitals throughout the United States.
