- Meal plan memberships can only be canceled or changed, if eligible, before the END of the registration drop/add period. Find more information about registration dates on The Scoop.
- Meal plan membership cancellations or changes will be charged at a prorated amount.
Payment for meal plan memberships must be made by the final drop date. Payment information can be found on the Office of Student Accounts and Billing Services website. Classes will be reviewed for cancellation if payment is not received by the deadline.
- Any meal plan memberships or upgrades added after the drop/add period must be paid in full before activation. Payment information can be found on the Office of Student Accounts and Billing Services website.
- Meal plan memberships can only be used by the plan purchaser; violators will be subject to campus judicial review.
- Meal plan memberships and Dining Debit Dollars are loaded onto students' Wolves ID cards. Lost or stolen ID cards are subject to a $20 replacement fee. Replacement information is available on the Wolves Card Office website.
- Meal plan memberships must be requested each semester; they do not carry over automatically.
- Meal plan memberships must be used within the semester purchased. Meal plans expire on the last enrollment date of that semester. Unused meal plans are non-refundable.
- Mandatory Meal Plan Requirements:
- The meal plan requirement at UWG mandates that students living in on-campus housing who have not met any of the exemptions listed below must select either Pack 21, Wolves, or Basic Meal Plan.
- 21 years old or older on the first day of the semester.
- Married, legal parent or guardian of a child under 18 or active military.
- Earned more than 30 college credit hours (not including dual enrollment credits).
- Purchased two mandatory meal plans in the past (one for Fall and one for Spring) at UWG or another accredited university.
- Enrolled in an approved 100% Mandatory Online undergraduate program.
- Lives in an approved exempted zip code at home with parent/guardian for those on the Carrollton exemption zip code list. For Newnan exemption eligibility, students must live with a parent/guardian in a Newnan-exempt zip code AND must be enrolled in at least 51% of their classes at the Newnan campus.
- Students residing in an exempted zip code and choosing to live on campus must comply with all residency requirements.
- Students who are required to have a meal plan but fail to submit a membership form will be automatically enrolled in the Wolves plan.
- Commuter Students or students living in a residence hall who have met the mandatory meal plan exemptions may select any plan.
- Balances remaining in Dining Debit Dollars may be returned if the student is not enrolled in the next consecutive semester (Fall/Spring).
- Students with severe food allergies may request exemption from mandatory meal plans through the Meal Plan Appeals Request Form.
- All meal plan membership pricing is subject to change and requires final approval by the USG Board of Regents.
