Student does not live with a parent or legal guardian within the approved exempted zip code list (below) for the primary campus attended. Note: the primary campus is the UWG location where a student takes 51% of their classes.

Transfer Status

Student has not completed 30 credit hours or more post-highschool graduation

Military Status

Student is not actively serving in the military

Previous Resident

Student has not completed two semesters living on campus at UWG or another accredited university.

• Student is 21 or older by the first day of semester
• Student is currently married
• Student is a legal parent, guardian, or custodian of a child under the age of 18
• Student is enrolled in an approved 100% mandatory online undergraduate program
• Student lives in an approved exempted zip code at home with a parent/guardian for those on the Carrollton exemption zip code list
• For Newnan exemption eligibility, the student must both live with a parent/guardian in a Newnan-exempted zip code and must be enrolled in at least 51% of their classes at the Newnan campus
• Student has completed at least 30 credit hours of college credit post-highschool graduation
• Student is actively deployed with the military
• Student has completed two semesters of living on campus at UWG or another accredited university
