The core coursework in the School Improvement program falls within three curricular strands:

  • Teaching and Learning (9 hours)
  • Leadership for School Improvement (9 hours)
  • Research and Effective Use of Data (15 hours)

The core also includes the following: 

  • The School Improvement Orientation (no credit)
  • EDSI 9901 Doctoral Seminar (3 credits) + one three credit elective
  • Virtual Research Development Series (no credit)
