B.S. Ed. with a Major in Elementary Education

The Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S. Ed.) with a major in Early Childhood Education prepares candidates for initial teacher certification in Pre-Kindergarten through grade 5 in the state of Georgia. The program develops educators who understand and implement best teaching practices and who are prepared to teach in diverse educational settings. M.A.T. with a Concentration in Elementary Education

Our Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) with a concentration in Elementary Education has been developed to help address the teacher shortage in Georgia. The Elementary Education concentration is 36 credit hours, and requires at least four semesters (fall-spring-summer-fall) for students to complete.

M. Ed. with a Major in Elementary Education

Our Master of Education (M. Ed.) degree program is designed to prepare teachers who will be academically grounded instructional leaders. Program coursework and field experiences promote research-based practices that ensure that all students can and do learn. Graduates' theoretical and pedagogical knowledge will be deepened as they apply innovative, effective research-based practices in Early Childhood Education.

Post-Bacc Initial Non-Degree Certification Early Childhood Education

The Post-Baccalaureate (Post-Bacc) Certificate in Early Childhood Education program is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of early childhood education and to prepare you for licensure in the state of Georgia. The program is for individuals who already hold a bachelor's degree who want to become a certified Pre-Kindergarten through Fifth grade school teacher.
