What is the Comprehensive Community Clinic (CCC)?

Established in 1983, the University of West Georgia’s Comprehensive Community Clinic (CCC) is an educational training facility for undergraduate and graduate students in the College of Education.

The CCC is dedicated to offering services to the community in areas of literacy, math, and speech-language under the supervision of licensed faculty. We are committed to serving the community through outreach programs and by providing high quality & affordable services in a state-of the-art facility.

Preparing exemplary practitioners to enhance the health and well-being of individuals and their families across their lifespan in Carroll County and surrounding areas.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Comprehensive Community Clinic at the University of West Georgia is:

  1. to provide an opportunity for practitioners in training to practice their skills under the supervision of faculty using multiple delivery models in a state of the art facility;
  2. to provide high quality integrated and affordable clinical and support services including speech-language pathology and developmental reading and math instruction; and
  3. to provide opportunities for applied research.
