BIOL-2251 Human Anatomy and Physiology I
Description
This course is the first course in a two-semester sequence designed to explore the biological and chemical processes underlying the structure and function of the human body at the cellular, tissue, organ, and whole-body level. Topics to be covered include, but are not limited to, biological chemistry; cellular structure and function; tissues; and the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems. This course is designed primarily for those pursuing majors in nursing and the allied health professions. It is not intended for biology or other laboratory science majors and cannot be used for credit for those degrees.
