Non-degree Seeking Students
TRANSIENT
Transient student is a “visiting” student who wishes to take course work at UWG for one semester and then return to their previously enrolled college.
Requirements
In addition to submitting a completed admission application and $40 application fee (If mailing a paper application, please do not mail cash payment.) each time they wish to attend UWG, a transient student must also submit to the Office of Admissions a Transient Approval Letter from the Registrar or Dean of his/her previously college. This Transient Letter must state the student is in good academic standing.
If your school does not have a Letter of Transient Permission, please use UWG’s Letter of Transient Permission Form.
A transient student must not be on suspension or exclusion from the previous college. In case of doubt, the Director of Admissions may classify the applicant as a transfer applicant and require the applicant to comply with all transfer admission requirements.
