W. Troy Vollenweider joined the UGA SBDC at the University of West Georgia in January 2022.  Prior to joining the Small Business Development Center at UWG, Mr. Vollenweider previously held financial and operational positions in commercial banking, small business management, and healthcare administration.  His commercial banking background covers almost 15 years of commercial lending, real estate lending, and mortgage warehousing.  Mr. Vollenweider's small business management experience includes work in real estate/property management with traditional and government-subsidized housing.  With his broad business background, Troy enjoys working with small businesses to help them reach their full potential. 

Troy is a two-time graduate of The University of West Georgia, earning a BBA - Management in 2000 and an MBA in 2018.
