Morgan graduated from Auburn University with a BA in Psychology in 2010. She then went on to complete a MEd in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, also from Auburn. Morgan worked at a children's advocacy center as a forensic interviewer and therapist for three years before starting her own private practice. She completed her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Auburn in 2018 and has been teaching at various institutions since. Now, Morgan is an instructor at UWG in the Counselor Education programs in the Department of Counseling, Higher Education, and Speech-Language Pathology in the College of Education. She has many research interests, but the most current ones involve counselor competencies in working with clients with sexual concerns and testifying on behalf of clients.
