Beth M. Sheppard, PhD is a tenured full professor based in the Ingram Library. Sheppard is a prolific author whose research interests include both the fields of Library Science and Biblical Studies. Her primary focus is the Roman context of the Fourth Gospel. At UWG she teaches the core library class in addition to interdisciplinary studies courses (XIDS). She has a keen fascination with technology and secured UWG’s Institutional Repository, which she now manages, by writing a successful grant through the Gladys Delmas Krieble Foundation. An advocate of life-long learning, Sheppard is presently expanding her knowledge base by pursuing a Masters of Legal Studies with a concentration in intellectual property.
