What I value about both classroom and film set is that each and every person brings something crucial to the process. One of the great joys of teaching film and media production is to be firsthand witness as students discover their own aptitudes and capacities within the diverse roles of a production team, in a field that requires every personality type and skill set to function smoothly.
Media production and teaching are each collaborative endeavors that share and thrive upon this bi-directionality.

I am fortunate to have joined the UWG community in 2012, particularly the ever expanding Department of Mass Communications. I am inspired daily by the level of commitment and energy shown by our students, faculty and staff, and am excited each day with the promise of cross-campus collaboration and community. I am incredibly proud to call The University of West Georgia my home, both personally and professionally.
