Danilo M. Baylen is a tenured Professor of Instructional Technology, Media, and Design in the Department of Educational Technology and Foundations, College of Education at the University of West Georgia. In 2023, he was named a Fulbright U.S. Scholar to the Philippines. His research interests include technology integration across the curriculum, visual and media literacy education, online learning and teaching strategies, and instructional design in international contexts. His recent research projects focused on use and integration of technology for course transformation, the role of learner characteristics in e-learning, designing learning experiences in international settings, and visual representation in print and digital resources. Currently, he is exploring the convergence of emerging interactive technologies in interdisciplinary contexts.
