The Black Alumni Network hosts a variety of events including our signature Homecoming Tailgate, mentorship events for students, graduation parties, and more. Check the Events Calendar for the most updated list of upcoming events.

Black Alumni Network t-shirts are now available online and in UWG Outfitters.
T-shirts are available in sizes small-XXX large, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the work of the Black Alumni Network.
MEET OUR EXECUTIVE BOARD

Greg Amadi '15
President
Greg Amadi graduated in the Spring of 2015 with degrees in Management and Finance. The current acting President plans to put forth initiatives that support the Network's growth and create opportunities that bridge the gap between future and past UWG Black Alumni generations.
Shinice Johnson '14
Interim Vice President/ Events Co-Chair
Shinice Johnson graduated in the Spring of 2014 from UWG with a major in Mass Communication and a minor in marketing. She is a Senior Media Planner at one of Adweek's "Fastest Growing Agency 2022". Shinice hopes to bring new and exciting ideas to the new BAN E-board that will help encourage more engagement with our Alumni.

Jovan Johnson '17
Vice President of Finance
Jovan Johnson graduated in the Spring of 2014 from UWG with a major in Accounting and a Master's in Business Administration in 2017. Owner and Accountant at Piece of Wealth Accounting, Co-Owner, and Financial Advisor at Piece of Wealth Planning. As an e-board member, he looks forward to supporting and engaging with UWG Black Alumni and creating opportunities for Black alums to continue engaging with the university meaningfully.

Brea Brown '16
Engagement Chair
Brea Brown graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She currently works with autistic children as a Registered Behavior Technician. Her professional goals include completing her master's program and obtaining her BCBA license. In addition, as the Engagement Chair, she plans to connect with UWG Black students by establishing relationships with on-campus organizations.
