The university constantly works to keep faculty and staff updated on important campus information, utilizing outlets to avoid filling up email inboxes.
The Work West Bulletin was created and approved by the President’s Advisory Council in 2016 to convey work-related information through a once-a-week email sent to the all-employee listserv. Containing information pertinent to each work week, the WWB includes upcoming dates and deadlines, employee training opportunities, and policy updates.
Likewise, the Work West Webspace was created to streamline all information for faculty and staff that is not available to the public. The site is accessible by logging in using the employees’ UWG credentials. This space shares information on UWG services, happenings, and need-to-know information. The space is meant not only to keep employees informed, but to keep up engagement and encourage and promote cross-campus collaboration.
Currently, the information in each Work West Bulletin is transferred into the Work West Web space on a weekly basis.
