The below form is for undergraduate embedded certificates only. To pursue one of the below certificates, students must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program of study.

Please review the specific requirements of your certificate in the Undergraduate Catalog.

Eligibility: Richards College certificates may be completed by either business or non-business majors.

Business majors are eligible to apply for a certificate(s) when they have completed the requirements to take upper level classes within the Richards College of Business.

Non-Business majors are eligible to apply for a certificate(s) when they have completed a minimum of 45 hours of classes with at least a 2.00 GPA.

If you wish to receive a Richards College of Business certificate, you must apply no later than the last day to withdraw without penalty in the semester in which you are graduating.

Eligibility:

The Microbiology Certificate program is open to all Biology majors, students pursuing either the B.S. or minor in Biology at the University of West Georgia.

A student may formally apply to the certificate program after successful completion of Microbiology (BIOL 3310) with a grade of “C” or higher.

Microbiology Certificate program application packages are available through the University of West Georgia Department of Biology.
