Program Description:

International Business in Athens and the Greek Islands

Embark on a transformative journey to Greece, where history, culture, and education come to life. Explore ancient landmarks, experience vibrant traditions, and immerse yourself in stunning landscapes. Gain hands-on insights into the dynamic world of international business, global economic trends and marketing strategies through business visits and cultural experiences. 

Sightseeing/cultural excursions will include:

  • A guided tour of Athens.
  • A tour of the amazing Acropolis including the Parthenon, and the Temple of Athena Nike.
  • A traditional Greek dinner with dancing and ‘plate smashing’.
  • A visit to a local winery and wine tasting – Gikas Winery.
  • A Mediterranean cruise to three Greek Islands – Poros, Hydra and Aegina.
    • Poros – a charming little island of white-washed houses and untouched hillsides – no cars only mules.
    • Hydra – Its beautiful port and picturesque streets makes it a hot-spot for artists.
    • Aegina – A quaint island known for its pistachios – pistachio ice cream, pistachio brittle, pistachio cake…..
  • A foodie tour of Athens.
  • A farewell lunch by the vineyards.

Costs and Scholarships

Tentative Program Cost: $4,485

Additional Costs:

  • UWG Tuition (paid separately)
  • Touchnet payments include 3% non-refundable fee

Estimated Guaranteed Scholarship: $670

Important Notes:

  • Program spots are generally first-come first-serve. The non-refundable deposit will secure your spot in the program, but if you are not accepted for any reason, then you will be reimbursed. Refunds will not be issued if you withdraw from the program at any point.
  • Lack of visa/passport may result in complete loss of program fee
