PHIL-4240 Philosophy of Love and Sex
Description
The course critically examines love and sex through philosophical perspectives on gender and sexuality. The course applies the lenses of feminist and queer theory to examine the moral, social, and political dimensions of issues such as consent, commitment, autonomy, and power, and to examine how love and sex have been constructed within specific frameworks of gender identity, sexual orientation, and social norms.
