Ayana King

"Being a student in International Languages and Cultures was life changing. Learning about French films, literature, and history made me a better communicator, and allowed me to step outside of my comfort zone and expand my view of the world. Through my love of the French language, I obtained my Master of Public Health degree in Global Health. I hope to become a global health leader in French speaking countries to reduce health disparities in maternal and child health."

– Ayana King '18, Public Health Analyst, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
