UWG FBLA Collegiate Named Chapter of the Year at State Leadership Conference
University of West Georgia students claim nine first-place wins, multiple individual honors, and top chapter awards
CARROLLTON, Ga., April 13, 2026 — The University of West Georgia’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Collegiate chapter delivered a historic performance at the Georgia FBLA Collegiate State Leadership Conference, earning the 2026 Georgia FBLA Collegiate Chapter of the Year Award out of 25 competing chapters statewide. The conference brought together hundreds of students from across Georgia to compete, network, and prepare for professional careers.
Fifteen UWG students stood out across competitive events, individual recognitions, and chapter honors, reinforcing the Richards College of Business as home to one of the most accomplished collegiate FBLA chapters in the state.
