Department of Natural Sciences
The Department of Natural Sciences is composed of Biology; Chemistry; Enivronment, Sustainability, and GIS; Geology; and Physics programs, all focusing on excellence in instruction, personal attention, and hands-on learning that prepare students for fulfilling careers as scientists, researchers, and educators—roles that make an impact on our society and world.
We strongly believe that science is best learned through experience, thus research is a central pillar of students' education and enables them to publish and present their work at regional, national, and international conferences. Each program houses unique analytical equipment to enhance such student learning within their coursework.
Our alumni continue their studies in top graduate and professional schools and work in diverse scientific positions in both the private and public sectors.
