Alumni Story

Terrence Smith

"I remember signing with my agent, and one of the first things he said to me was that they were looking for actors with more of a theatre background. I couldn't help but be so grateful for my degree from UWG and everything I'd learned from the theatre program."

– Terrence Smith '14, theatre teacher and actor, whose recent work includes starring as Adam, Celie's son, in the Oprah Winfrey and Steven Spielberg-produced film, The Color Purple
