Facilities & Location

The Anthropology Program makes use of several facilities.

  • Anthropology Building: Located in between the Martha Monro Building and the Old Auditorium, this building houses several classrooms and offices of Anthropology faculty. 
  • Antonio J. Waring, Jr. Archaeological Laboratory: Located past the West Commons (Z-6) Dining Hall on Plant Ops Drive, the Waring Lab supports the archaeological research and instructional activities of the faculty in the Department of Anthropology and is a resource for visiting scholars from across the United States.
  • Biological and Forensic Anthropology Lab (BAFAL): Located in the "basement" of the Old Auditorium Building, Room 0119, the BAFAL contains the resources need to research a number of subjects including Human Evolution, Forensic Anthropology, Genes and DNA, and Primatology.
