S. Mark Mitchell
S. Mark Mitchell is a partner in the firm McKee & Mitchell, with offices in Newnan & Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Mitchell devotes a significant portion of his practice to representing local governments and other governmental entities, employment law, and civil litigation, including domestic relations. Mr. Mitchell is a graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law, where he was a member of the Order of Barristers and served as an editor of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law.

Prior to attending law school Mr. Mitchell was a local government executive for 15 years. Since graduating from law school he has practiced in Macon, Georgia at Martin, Snow, Grant & Napier, and has been with his current firm since 2001. Mr. Mitchell is a member of the School & College Law, Family Law and Local Government Law sections of the State Bar of Georgia.

He and his wife Brenda live in Newnan, where Mr. Mitchell is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Newnan and has served as Chairman of the Board of Deacons at Central Baptist Church.
