Biography

I am a writer, director, and producer based in the Atlanta, GA area. My short films have screened at various film festivals and include the award winning Picture Show, Nirvana: a short film about lung cancer, Que Sera and Nobody's Darling - which recently one "Best Short Film" at the WIFTA ConFab Short Film Conference Summer '19.  I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Performing Arts and have studied at the prestigious Atlantic Acting School in NYC. I, then, graduated with a MFA in Film and Television at SCAD Atlanta in June of 2017 with the prestigious honor as Excelsus Laureate (speaker of the class).

In addition to pursuing my own creative projects in the industry, I love being a college professor with a focus on film production, screenwrititing, directing, and sharing my passion of film history - especially the work of female directors. While still relatively new to the classroom, I am excited to share and collaborate with the next generation of filmmakers and help them realize their dream. I am honored to teach at the University of West Georgia in the Mass Communications Department with my knowledgable and talented colleagues and look forward to a successful 2019-2020 academic year!
