Dr. Glaucio Scremin is an Associate Professor of Sport Management. His teaching interests include sport marketing, sport governance and ethics, sociology of sport, and global sport issues. Dr. Scremin earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Science in Sports Studies and a Doctor of Education in Sports Management, both from the United States Sports Academy.Dr. Scremin has over 10 years of experience as a sport management educator, personal trainer, strength and conditioning coach, and sport management consultant. He worked in the fitness industry as a personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach, where he helped clients and athletes achieve their health and fitness goals. He currently consults in the areas of strategic planning, sport marketing, and research with national and international sport organizations. Dr. Scremin pursues active line of research in sport management. His research interests are in the areas of sport consumer behavior with an emphasis on sport fan identity and international sport events such as the soccer World Cup and the Olympics.
