Jessica Aldridge first joined the University of West Georgia as a registered dietitian working for Health Services where she provided counseling and education services to students, faculty and staff. She is a registered and licensed dietitian with a background in clinical nutrition practicing medical nutrition therapy with an emphasis in nutrition support. After teaching part-time for one year, she committed to full-time education in the Department of Sport Management, Wellness and Physical Education in the fall of 2017. Jessica is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She serves on the UWG Wellness Task Force and provides guidance and mentoring for Health and Community Wellness Service Learning students who share a passion for nutrition. Her professional goals include pursuing a doctoral degree and to continue teaching in higher education.
In her spare time, Jessica enjoys cheering on the Wolves football and the Saint Louis Cardinals teams, cooking, recreational sports and exercise, and spending time with her family and friends.
