The Auxiliary Services on the campus of the University of West Georgia exist to provide essential products and services directly or indirectly to students, faculty and staff. The great majority of the UWG Auxiliary enterprises are self-operated (non-contracted) and function financially on a self-supporting basis, where the combination of fees and other revenues are sufficient to meet costs. Futher, auxiliary enterprises are not subsidized by state appropriations, or other edcuational and general revenues.
We strive for "excellence" in product and service delivery; with primary commitments to "access" and "affordability".
With the exceptions of "the Campus Center", "Health Services", and "Athletics", all campus Auxiliaries report under the leadership of the Senior Associate Vice President for Auxiliary Enterprises and Business Services; including, but not exclusively, the Bookstore, Dining, Housing, Parking and Transportation, Post Office, Publications and Printing, Townsend Center for Performing Arts, ATM, Bike, Beverage, Copy, Laundry and Snack Vending, Card Office, Sales and Solicitations, Coliseum, Camps, Conferences, Events and Recycle.
Additionaly, Auxiliary Services collaborates with campus partners to jointly manage Trademarks, Telecommunications, ReserveWest, Tailgating, and Commencement.
