This award offers the opportunity for Anthropology students to receive funding for research. This is a competitive award, based on availability of funds, generally awarded for expenditures of $500 or less.

How to Apply

• Fill out the Waring Research Support Award Application Form (DOCX) in consultation with a supervising professor in the Anthropology program.
• Email a scanned and signed copy of your application to the Endowment Manager (Lisa Gezon, lgezon@westga.edu) no less than 2 weeks prior to travel or to the beginning of your research project.
