How to Apply
All First Year students participate in a First-Year Program. You will choose your First-Year Program when you register for Orientation. You will receive information on this process from the Office of Admissions following your acceptance into UWG.
During Orientation registration you will make a first, second, and third choice of First-Year Programs. Your choices will be transmitted electronically to the program coordinator of your first-choice program. That coordinator will evaluate your record and either accept you or forward your form to your second-choice program, and so on. Once you are confirmed in a First-Year Program, you can view your program on the Orientation website. You will also receive confirmation of your First-Year Program when you arrive for Orientation and check in.
Note that some First-Year Programs have special admission requirements, summarized below. If additional information is required (e.g., interview or application form), we will contact you for that information after you indicate your first, second, and third choice of First-Year Program during Orientation registration.
RPM requires that students complete a housing contract. Students who do not have a completed housing contract within 48 hours of completing their Orientation Registration will not be admitted into RPM and will be assigned to their second or third choice program, depending on available space.
